Kayaking

Today I got up early and met my Aunt Lori and Uncle Tom at the boat launch, where OARS was doing a kayaking trip. They drove us to Utica and we spent the next 3 hours going down French Creek.

I'm not one for nature, but it was a really nice way to spend the day and I would definitely reccomend it to a friend, or for next time I bring someone from school back home with me. We saw lots of animals, it was a beautiful morning, and there were no major catastrophes.

I did take the rapids a little hard and ended up with a lot of water in my kayak, and Aunt Lori accidentally got hers stuck on a rock, but overall we did pretty well for having only been out a few times before. Next time I'd like to take my camera, but I got so wet I'm still a little nervous about the idea.

Either way, it was a lovely way to spend the morning!
